Fizzies Nostalgic Candy Memories

My sister and I were especially fond of Fizzies my favorite was Cherry, hers I think was Grape.

We started out using them the recommended way, dropping in a glass of water, watching them fizz and it was great, but kids will be kids and we thought we needed a little more pizazz in our day so we decided to just go ahead and eat them straight.

Boy, they were fizzy and strong ! But we LIKED IT, and did it again and again.

I seem to recall that I had figured out the absolute best method for eating them right out of the box was to just nibble small amounts around the edges letting them foam as you went.

This way they lasted longer and it wasn't a total shock to your system.

Ahhh, those were great times.
