Mary Janes Candy Memories : I remember as a child scouring the neighborhood for deposit bottles which we turned in for a nickel a piece. Whatever money we gleaned from that I would walk to our corner candy store. On a good day I could buy a whole brown paper lunch size bag filled with broken penny candy for 15 cents. My favorite treat was green spearmint licorice, maryjanes, or sugar daddys. How my brother and I loved that corner candy store. A place that was filled with wonder and delight all for the price of a penny. - Judy You May Also Like Make your Own Caramel Apples using Mary Janes Candies
