Peanut Brittle Recipe

Here is a great recipe for home made peanut brittle. If you have never made your own give it a try. It is pretty easy to make and nothing taste better then home made candy.

Ingredients:

1 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup peanuts you can chopped them if you like smaller pieces

Instructions:

Melt sugar in a heavy sauce pan

Stir constantly so it doesn't burn.

Cook until sugar is a golden brown liquid.

Add peanuts and stir in quickly.

Pour on a greased pan.

Tilt pan to spread mixture, careful it will be hot.

Make sure it is spread thin.

Wait until you candy is cold the break into pieces.

Store in an air tight container.

This makes a small batch so if you are a peanut brittle lover or plan to give it as a gift, you might want to double the recipe.
